Time Series Cache File

What is the tsdocument-prop-cache.xml file used for? It seems to always accompany my custom time series database xml file.

Answer
The time series cache file is a processed file that the Windham Software uses to read. For example, if you create a new database mydatabase-prop.xml using the Time Series Utility, this main file is used to manage the data in the database. You can modify attributes of the time series and asset classes, update new data points, etc.

Once the maintenance work is complete, the Time Series Utility will generate mydatabase-prop-cache.xml for the Windham Software to read. To point the Windham Software to this file, see the Time Series menu->Locate Custom Time Series.
