Monte-Carlo Simulation Error

When I try to run the Monte Carlo simulation in the Wealth and Income Analysis module, the software stops short of producing a result or in some cases shuts down completely.

It is possible that you are using a large number of paths over a long period for the simulation. This can be too much data for your machine’s memory (depending on the amount of RAM your computer has) to handle.

For example, say, you are using 10,000 paths for a monthly simulation over a 20 year period. Then number of iterations for the simulation are:

12 months 20 years 12 assets 10,000 paths

You can re-run the simulation by reducing the number of paths (e.g. 1,000-5,000)
